"'I should have been at the tree farm, fighting with my sister over the perfect tree. I missed out on the big game and the most recent school dance. Why? Because I didn't' have control of when I could go to the bathroom. So I was stuck at home with Planet of the Apes. I hate that movie.'

I am a 7 year survivor of Testicular Cancer and have lived 14 years with Crohn's Disease. I teach high school social studies and am happily married with a 22 month old little boy.
